Am using an imager that has a functional safety manual for hardware related faults but not software faults. I understand communication faults, that will be covered, Does SIPL include fault bytes/bits for fault notification of imager internal faults? I am thinking there is some documentation somewhere for SIPL or GMSL? I am thinking this driver software also includes imager internal fault information that will be passed on to the application system. Any info you can provide would be appreciated.
