Camera preview black screen with low frequency sync signal

The GMSL2 camera default output is 1920 * 1080 30fps.
The camera can preview OK without sync signal.
But when I set a sync signal(below 30HZ) the camera can’t preview OK, only show black screen. I can detect the MIPI signal output from deserializer, seems fine. The dmesg has no error message. I got the trace log below. Please help me analyze the problem. Thanks!

tracing logs also looks correct, VI got start-of-frame and end-of-frame and it’s not reporting failures.
may I know what’s the sync signal is?
