I’m waiting on parts to arrive for an 8x GB10 cluster using the MikroTik CRS804-4DDQ-hRM switch. I’m wondering, how many simultaneous users could the cluster support for GLM-5-FP8? I’m asking because if it’s just 1 or 2 then I’ll probably want to build additional clusters.
Also, would there be any serious reason to have a 4x GB10 cluster? As far as I can figure out, it requires the same switch. So would there be any desirable models to run on 4x that would be good enough to not just do 8x instead? I think it’s more obvious how 1x or 2x could be useful to have in addition to an 8x cluster, but I’m not sure about 4x. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
One other question, are these the cables everyone would recommend? I haven’t ordered any cables yet. I’d like to make sure I have the correct ones first.
