Can BootRom be patched on Jetson Nano [B01]

Hi,

As per documentation, BootROM (BR) is hard-wired in the Tegra chip and it initializes the Boot Media and loads Microboot1 (MB1) from the Boot Media.
Can the BootRom on Jetson Nano [B01] be patched? If yes, is there a protection mechanism such as Fuses to prevent malicious actors from patching BootRom?
