We want to evaluate the video quality of encoder / decoder.
Video input is 4k(UHD)/30P/YUV420 into the USB 3.0 interface,
but video output is 4k(UHD)/60P/RGB from the HDMI output port.
If video output is 30P, we can compare input and output video easily
using a HDMI capture tool (e.g. Blackmagic DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G).
Can I set HDMI to 4k(UHD)/30P ?
Please take a look at the result of “xrandr” first to see if your monitor support 4K@30
Hi Wayne WWW,
Thanks your good advice.
I’ll try out immediately.
We have already connected TX2 and Decklink 4K Extreme,
but DeckLink outputed “4K@60P” message and black screen.
It seems that the DeckLink negotiated “4K@60P” and failed to capture the video.
I think such board is just connected to the tegra HDMI port as a HDMI output, right? How is the result of xrandr?
Is 4k@30 resolution on the list?
We appreciate your support.

Using XRandR, we could set it to 30P forced.
Then the black lines problem was solved.
Tomorrow, we will test to capture by BlackMagic DeckLink 4K.
