Can MMQ1T00-VS work in 50G_1X or 100G_2X mode?

I’m considering use MMQ1T00-VS QSFP56 module in connection beetwen ConnectX-6 Dx and Intel Agilex FPGA Development board. In this solution only 1 or 2 lanes will be used.
Is it possible to force 50G_1X or 100G_2X mode on ConnectX-6 with MMQ1T00-VS to use 1 or 2 lanes on 50G PAM4 speed ?
I tried similar QSFP 200G SR4 from another vendor (FS.com) and it didn’t work,
mlxlink utility reported an error:

Status Opcode: 36
Group Opcode: PHY FW
Recommendation: Other issues

BTW. I can’t find anywhere explanaition of above error 36

Opcode 36 means no link partner was detected when attempting to work in force mode.

What is the output of
mlxlink -d -p 1 -m
