Can not run CUDA SDK samples ... CUDA sample applications crash

Hi everyone
I’ve installed CUDA cuda driver file “driver_2.2_winxp_32_185.85_notebook.exe” and CUDA SDK and Toolkit 2.3. When I build CUDA SDK samples with VS2005 they can be build without any problem. But when I try to execute any of them it crashes … What can be the reason of this problem ?

version 185.85 only supports cuda 2.2, not cuda 2.3

CUDA is backward compatible, say latest driver supports old toolkit, but reverse is not true
