# Can not run RTSP camera with Deepstream Python Apps (Test3 and Test1)

Information:  
**• Hardware Platform (Jetson / GPU)** Jetson Nano  
**• DeepStream Version** Deepstream 5.0.1  
**• JetPack Version (valid for Jetson only)** Jetpack 4.4.1-b50  
**• TensorRT Version** TensorRT 7.1.3

## Hello Everyone, I got some problems with run python test apps (Deepstream-test1 and Deepstream-test3 ) for stream my RTSP camera.

**1) With Deepstream\_Test3 case**

nhan@nhan-desktop:/opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream-5.0/sources/deepstream\_python\_apps/apps/deepstream-test3$ python3 deepstream\_test\_3.py rtsp://admin:TX\*\*\*\*@192.168.1.12/H.264

## Creating Pipeline Creating streamux Unable to create NvStreamMux Traceback (most recent call last): File “deepstream\_test\_3.py”, line 376, in sys.exit(main(sys.argv)) File “deepstream\_test\_3.py”, line 243, in main pipeline.add(streammux) File “/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gi/overrides/Gst.py”, line 64, in add if not Gst.Bin.add(self, arg): TypeError: Argument 1 does not allow None as a value

**2) With Deepstream-test1 case**

nhan@nhan-desktop:/opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream-5.0/sources/deepstream\_python\_apps/apps/deepstream-test1$ python3 deepstream\_test\_1.py rtsp://admin:TX\*\*\*\*@192.168.1.12/H.264

Could someone give me some advices for 2 case. How i can stream my camera? And in the future, i want stream 4 cameras in the same time with jetson nano, so Need i choose Deepstream Test3 or Test1 ?

1. Please read the README file for deepstream\_test\_1.py, it only support H264 ES local stream. It is wrong to run it with rtsp input. 2. Can you run the following command on your platform to check whether there are nvstreammux, nvinfer , nvvideoconvert,… in your platform? Seems your DeepStreamSDK is not installed correctly.
