can openGL program work in Emulation Mode without a correct nVidia card

I tried the “SimpleGL” program provided in the SDK. I re-compiled it in EmuDebug mode. but got the error: " Support for necessary OpenGL extensions missing".

I used to run other common opengl programs( not cuda style), and they worked well. And I also tried the “matrixMul” program in the SDK in EmuDebug mode, it worked well too.

So I want to ask whether OpenGL programs can not be run in the Emudebug mode without a correct nVidia card? thanks
