Can the 3A tuning of the image sensor be done with Nvidia argus?

If it is correct to use the argus api to process the camera sensor via an ISP, can the 3A tuning of the image sensor be done with Nvidia argus?

@sayhi7
For image tuning you need contact to camera scaling partner. Appro, Leopard …

Is argus of Nvidia SDK capable of 3A tuning Bayer pattern image sensors with tegra built-in isp ?

Appro and Leopard can provide the I2C initialization table values needed to tune the camera sensor with tegra built-in isp?

I am a camera SW expert, so please ask the specific and professional Appro and Leopard development experts.

@sayhi7
The argus API may have limitation for image tuning.
We provide some tuning guide and tuning tools for scaling partner for image tuning.

Is it NVIDIA’s technology policy to provide tuning guide and tuning tools only to scaling partners such as Appro or Leopard for image tuning and not to other developers ?

Yes, correct.

If there is a block diagram of camera operation of embedded Linux kernel between NVIDIA’s MIPI CSI-2 processor, embedded ISP processor and TX1 CPU, please upload JPG file if it is available on this forum site.

You should be able find it in l4t document.(chapter “sensor programing guide”)
