Cannot boot up to Desktop with AGX Xavier Industrial

Hi,

On our custom board with AGX Xavier Industrial SOM, system fails to boot up to Desktop if power is removed for a while(about 90 seconds) and reconnected. This issue does not happen on the same custom board with AGX Xavier(non-industrial version).

The HDMI screen shows kernel panic message in the end. System will try to reboot; however, every reboot ends with the same kernel panic message. Please help advise.

there’s kernel panic and it force to reboot the system.

may I confirm which JetPack release you’re using?
is this only happened with code-boot, are you able to boot into ubuntu desktop with warm-reboot ($ sudo reboot)?

The JetPack version is 4.6.
This issue only happens with cold boot; warm boot ($ sudo reboot) is fine.

we cannot repo the same failure locally.
may I have more details, is this Jetson AGX Xavier Industrial flashed with native Jetpack-4.6 release?
could you please remove all peripheral devices to have confirmation.

This issue seems to happen on our custom board only.
It is Jetson AGX Xavier Industrial flashed with native Jetpack-4.6 release.
We tried to boot up device without any peripheral devices. However, the issue still exists.

since you’re having your customize board,
please refer to Pinmux Changes and change the pinmux configuration applied by the software.

Could you help suggest what kind of pins should be reconfigured? We have no idea which pins are related to the CBB errors.

please review the board schematics.
if your board schematic differs from that for Jetson AGX Xavier Developer Kit board, you must change the pinmux configuration applied by the software.
