Cannot clara pull platform

I am following an 2. Installation — Clara Deploy SDK 0.7.3 documentation guide to install Clara deploy but has faced some issues when i run the command clara pull platform.

I am installing Clara on an AWS instance:
Deep Learning Base AMI (Ubuntu 18.04) Version 33.0
instance type : p2.xlarge

ubuntu@ip:~$ clara pull platform
✔ Yes

You might need to run helm init (or helm init --client-only if tiller is alr eady installed)

ubuntu@ip:~$ helm init
Creating /home/ubuntu/.helm/repository/repositories.yaml
Adding stable repo with URL: https://kubernetes-charts.storage.googleapis.com
Error: error initializing: Looks like “https://kubernetes-charts.storage.googlea pis.com” is not a valid chart repository or cannot be reached: Failed to fetch h ttps://kubernetes-charts.storage.googleapis.com/index.yaml : 403 Forbidden

Hi 14pw.tanboonhing,

Sorry for the trouble with this. Helm v2 was recently deprecated, and the helm init command now requires providing the URL for the old stable repo:
helm init --stable-repo-url https://charts.helm.sh/stable --service-account tiller

The docs and installation scripts will be updated to reflect this change.

Thanks,
Kris

Hi kkersten, thank you for the help.
I am still facing some issue running that helm init command

ubuntu@ip:~$ helm init --stable-repo-url https://charts.helm.sh/st able --service-account tiller
Creating /home/ubuntu/.helm/repository/repositories.yaml
Adding stable repo with URL: https://charts.helm.sh/stable
Error: error initializing: Looks like “https://charts.helm.sh/stable” is not a v alid chart repository or cannot be reached: open /home/ubuntu/.helm/repository/c ache/stable-index.yaml: permission denied

Would you be able to help me on this?

It looks like this may just be a permissions issue on your ~/.helm directory. Try changing ownership to your user/group by running:
sudo chown -R <your username>:<default group> ~/.helm
