Cannot find size of first mode for... so llvmpipe takes over!

I am having exactly the same problem as this guy, although with different hardware and in a KVM virtual machine with PCI passthrough. Fedora 34, current as of today.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 - external monitor not seen by xrandr (Debian 11)

I see that when first posting an issue no formatting is available, but it is after the posting. And “preformatted text” is inconsistent in sometimes using one ` but sometimes using ```. Doesn’t make sense so I’ll just triple-backquote all the code. What a mess.

I do not have scaling enabled.  Here is the only xorg file I have, which came with the Fedora 34 nvidia driver.  Only change I made was ModeDebug:

You would think that his solution would work for me, but it doesn’t, As the symptoms are identical I think he just hit on a lucky workaround which works for him.

Ok I get it now. nVidia does not work with newer linuces.

Ditching this for a Radeon.
