Cannot Manual Flashing Jetson Thor

Hi,

When I manually flashed the system using the command “sudo ./l4t_initrd_flash.sh jetson-agx-thor-devkit internal”, it failed. The flashing process has stopped at the position shown in the following picture.

What is the reason for this and how can it be solved?

Thangs.

It is normal for me to flash the device using the SDK Manager. Is the flashing command incorrect? What is the correct command?

Hi

Do you download our official bsp and run the mentioned commands ?

If yes, please provide us commands for extracting bsp and rootfs in details.

Thanks

Yes, I download from

https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/embedded/L4T/r38_Release_v2.0/release/Jetson_Linux_R38.2.0_aarch64.tbz2

https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/embedded/L4T/r38_Release_v2.0/release/Tegra_Linux_Sample-Root-Filesystem_R38.2.0_aarch64.tbz2

https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/embedded/L4T/r38_Release_v2.0/sources/public_sources.tbz2

https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/embedded/L4T/r38_Release_v2.0/release/x-tools.tbz2

And I referred to the link Kernel Customization — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide for compiling the source code.

Hi,

If your Jetson Thor is a devkit, please use our official bsp and kernel image and run a flash to verify whether the flashing process succeeds.

Thanks

Hi,

When I burned the official bsp and Image files in the VMWare, the burner would fail. However, I was able to successfully flash the operating system onto my Ubuntu PC.

Thanks.

The VM is not supporting by SDK manager, please have a native Ubuntu OS machine.
