Hi everyone, I am running a large file on USD Composer, on a nucleus, and now I cannot save the layers anymore. The file is usable and make adjustments to everything, but once I try to save my changes I just says “Please Wait…Saving Layers…” perpetually. Then it eventually crashes. The nucleus IP has changed recently and since then i cant save anything. Could this be wifi issue?
Please let me know if you guys know if there are options for me to fix this.
This is hard to diagnose from here but some general advice. Are you trying to save the whole file in general with the File > Save command, rather than individual layers? Yes being on wifi is not a great idea for large files in general unless its very fast. Is this Nucleus server on a corporate network or your own local Nucleus server ?
If the IP address of the server has changed, then yes this could affect it. When you say the file is “large”, hopefully the usd file is broken down into smaller files that are more manageable. Remember to use efficient files and subfiles with referencing rather than one big file.
