Hi, wanting to explore drone robotics software and wanted to install ROS for this. I found out that ROS1 is not suitable for Ubuntu 22.04, which I have (and must stick to I assume - or can I update??) on my Orin Nano. So looking for latest LTS version of ROS2 “Jazzy” this is only available for Ubuntu 22.04. I managed to install ROS2 “Iron” now…just annoys me a bit that the documentation I am reading (I dont know ROS so far) all says “you are looking at no longer supported version” - and it seems I cannot change it. I hope I found the right forum for this question - if not, sorry, my very first comment ever at nvidia dev. So question in short: are my conclusions all right or is there a better way?
