Can't login to Omniverse without a VPN

I’m having difficulty logging into nvidia without a VPN. I get a 504 bad gateway error. This is not an error in the omniverse launcher, it’s in the nvidia login page - I actually can’t login to developer to ask for help without the vpn either.

I’ve tried from multiple IP addresses with multiple devices.

Any suggestions? I can’t keep using the VPN in production.

We really do not encourage use of a vpn for any of our services or webpages. Where are you located ? What region of the world ?

Hi Richard,

I’m in the UK. I understand you don’t encourage it, but without it I cannot log in at all.

The UK should be totally fine without vpn. Can you give me the exact webpage you are failing to access ? I will pass it along.

Hi Richard,

It’s the login page for anything nvidia - https://accounts.nvgs.nvidia.com/api/1/oauth/authorize?redirect_uri

The error is “Gateway Time-out”.
Occasionally it will let me see a login page with errors - I can’t actually login, but I get CORS errors in the console. Sorry, I didn’t get a screenshot. If I enable the VPN I can log in fine.

Hi everyone,

We are currently experiencing login issues for NVIDIA users in the EU region. We are actively working to resolve the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Tom

We have had some server issues this morning which appear to have been resolved. Please try again.

A fix has been implimented, let us know if you still have issues logging in from the EU region.

Yep, that seems to have worked. I looked on twitter and other places for updates about this before posting here. Couldn’t find anything. Is there a place where I could have seen a status update?
