Hello,
I’m trying to follow the setup guide for the Jetson Orin (🚀 Initial Setup Guide - Jetson Orin Nano - NVIDIA Jetson AI Lab) but I can’t progress past the JP513-orin-nano-sd-card-image_b29.zip part.
I precise that I have a Jetson AGX Orin 64GB.
Despite flashing the SD card with this image and rebooting the kit, my UEFI stay on version 35.4.1 (instead of version 35.5.0), seen by entering “sudo nvbootctrl dump-slots-info”.
I also noticed that everytime I try to reach the UEFI (Pressing Echap while booting up the machine) I have a blackscreen so I cant see anything.
I’m fearly new to Linux so if you can be precise in your explanations it would help me immensely.
Thank you in advance.
Victorien
Hi,
You may need to know what product you are using here first.
If this is a Orin AGX, then you could not refer to tutorial for a Jetson Orin Nano. They are totally different. The sdcard image is for Orin Nano to use.
Using it on Orin AGX will just lead to failure.
For Orin AGX, you have to prepare another x86 Ubuntu host PC and use sdkmanager to flash the board.

Thank you very much for your answer, Can I use a VM for this ?
No, please have a host PC with native Ubuntu OS.
