Cascade UART Devices Cannot Work When Connecting to ttyTHS0 of Orin NX

Hi,

I am working on a TOF sensor (UART) that can be cascaded. But when I connect two sensors on the /dev/ttyTHS0, I can only access the sensor that is directly connected to the carrier board.

I have checked both codes and sensors, they can all work properly if I use a USB to TTL deceive, like FT232, to connect them to Orin NX.

So could you give me some insights where the problem is? The hardware design of the carrier board or some configurations of the UART?

Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin NX?
What’s your Jetpack version in use?

Do you mean that 2 sensors are connected on the same UART interface?
Could you share the block diagram of your connection?
and also the full dmesg for further check.
