I have a BenQ EL2870U monitor, which freezes the whole system when it is plugged in.
If I have nvidia-drm.modeset=1, then the system will freeze during boot. Otherwise it freezes when X is started.
If I boot the system with the monitor unplugged, then plug it in, the system will freeze immediately.
