Change in tiled display size changes fps

Hi Guys,

When I tried to modify the tiled display size, I could see a drop in fps. Following are the results for 4 stream operation :

Configuration -

[tiled-display]
enable=1
rows=2
columns=2
width=400
height=480
gpu-id=0
#(0): nvbuf-mem-default - Default memory allocated, specific to particular platform
#(1): nvbuf-mem-cuda-pinned - Allocate Pinned/Host cuda memory, applicable for Tesla
#(2): nvbuf-mem-cuda-device - Allocate Device cuda memory, applicable for Tesla
#(3): nvbuf-mem-cuda-unified - Allocate Unified cuda memory, applicable for Tesla
#(4): nvbuf-mem-surface-array - Allocate Surface Array memory, applicable for Jetson
nvbuf-memory-type=0

Output -

**PERF: 27.00 (27.83)	27.00 (27.83)	27.00 (27.83)	27.00 (27.83)
**PERF: 25.00 (26.44)	25.00 (26.44)	25.00 (26.44)	25.00 (26.44)

Configuration

[tiled-display]
enable=1
rows=2
columns=2
width=640
height=480
gpu-id=0
#(0): nvbuf-mem-default - Default memory allocated, specific to particular platform
#(1): nvbuf-mem-cuda-pinned - Allocate Pinned/Host cuda memory, applicable for Tesla
#(2): nvbuf-mem-cuda-device - Allocate Device cuda memory, applicable for Tesla
#(3): nvbuf-mem-cuda-unified - Allocate Unified cuda memory, applicable for Tesla
#(4): nvbuf-mem-surface-array - Allocate Surface Array memory, applicable for Jetson
nvbuf-memory-type=0

Output:

**PERF: 16.51 (17.59)	16.51 (17.59)	16.51 (17.59)	16.51 (17.59)
**PERF: 14.94 (16.27)	14.94 (16.27)	14.94 (16.27)	14.94 (16.27)

This observation is not made all the time. Soemtimes, the fps is fine but why the variability?

Thanks.
