When I started to use my first TX2, there was a Chromium icon on the desktop the first time I launched L4T. Now I got a new TX2, after I installed the OS and launched the L4T, the browser icon was NOT on the desktop. Why? How can I create such a icon on desktop?
I can see Chromium on my device… Did you install OS using Jetpack?
You may install it with
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
No, I did not install OS using jetpack. I was using the pre-install L4T on TX2
Note that the pre-install is older, and also less complete, than what you get with Jetpack.
I highly recommend re-flashing the system with the latest Jetpack.
