Civ crashes after the graphical intro on Ubuntu 16.04.3 with latest driver.

  • nvidia 970 with 4K screen
    Fully reproducable, maybe something wrong with installation?
    I have already long time trouble with nvidia drivers…

Today I installed cuda (again…:-() using the Runfile installer as described on docs.nvidia.com/cuda/quick-start-guide.
