Is latest CodeWorks for Android 1R8 suitable for software development on SHIELD Tablet and SHIELD Tablet K1 devices? These are running Android 7.0 Nougat (API level 24) at most.
When creating a new Android app with CodeWorks for Android 1R8, there are only options to target Android platform 21, 27 or 28. I’m using NDK Camera2 API that was introduced with platform 24. So I can’t set 21 as target platform. But platform 27 is then beyond what supported by SHIELD Tablet.
As an alternative, I didn’t find a way to install additional Android platforms, as with SDK Manager. So, question is open ;-)
