Hi,

we are looking into extending our DRIVE AGX Pegasus with a COM-Express Type 7 Module. Specifically, we are looking at Kontron products. Reason being that these modules have a wide range power supply (8.5-20V) compared to other products e.g. from congatec.

Is there any experience in using Kontron COM-Express Modules or is there anything specific we have to look out for? We have no previous experience in using COM-Express Modules. But since it is a standardized interface, I would expect it to work with DRIVE AGX Pegasus.

Thanks,
Christian

How? What kind of interface COM-Express Type 7 Module need?
If the interface required support by DRIVE AGX then it should be OK.

I am talking about the COM-Express Type 7 Interface on DRIVE AGX Pegasus. It uses COM-Express Type 7 Connector.

I am asking if there is anything we have to look out for regarding this interface. For example, in the Product Brief section 1.2 it says “COM EX Type7 CONN (intel)”. Does that mean only Intel based CPU Modules are supported and no AMD based CPUs?

We don’t try much COM Express Type 7 but it should work.
