compiling boost

Hi,

is it possible to compile C++ boost library using Portlang Group compilers? I searched the internet and didn’t find any information to this.

While I have not worked with Boost I doubt the’re is any technical reason why pgCC could not compile Boost. However, it appears the authors of Boost have choosen to not yet support PGI. I tried to decipher their build process but didn’t see any simple way of getting it to work. I’ll put it on my list to investigate further but you might want to contact the authores and ask that they support PGI.

This is a pretty old thread, but is there any update. I am about to have to try to compile boost using pgCC and would love any hints people might have.
