Hi everyone,
My name is Jerrod. I’m an Iraq war veteran and indie AI filmmaker based in Kentucky. I use NVIDIA GPUs every day for AI video production.
I wanted to get some technical and product feedback on a simple idea:
What if every home, vehicle, and small business had a dedicated NVIDIA “GPU hub” box that handled all high-end graphics and AI rendering for that space?
- Thin, low-cost devices (TVs, tablets, AR/VR headsets, in-car screens, etc.) would just stream from the hub.
- Different home or apartment sizes could have different hub tiers, similar to how HVAC or electrical panels are sized.
- Upgrading performance would be as simple as swapping a gpu in the hub, instead of replacing every device.
I’m curious:
- Is there anything in the current NVIDIA ecosystem that is close to this? I know of workstations n such.
- Which existing NVIDIA hardware/software stack would be best to prototype something like this? Are we looking at a a 96gig gpu?
- Is there a specific NVIDIA team (edge, RTX, home/consumer) I should be talking to?
Thanks in advance for any pointers,
Jerrod
