Connected Screen sometimes showes "mirrored" Picture

Hi!

Sometimes the Display connected to our Jetson Nano Development Kit shows a “mirrored” Picture:

(The orange boxes had to be added for confidential reasons and are not part of the problem)

Test System:

NVIDIA Jetson Nano Development Kit B01
Jetpack 4.6.1
L4T 32.7.1
Display:

  • Display Info: 9HP-CAPQLED - Waveshare Wiki
  • The Display’s Power is provided by an external Power Adapter
  • The Display is connected to the Jetson via USB for Touch Input

The error does not occur on every Boot, but if the error occurs the “mirror” effect is already present at the Bootlogo (NVIDIA Logo) and won’t go away unless you plug out the Display’s power and plug it back in.

Any Ideas?

Thank You
Timo

Hi,
We have never seen the issue with HDMI TVs. Does it happen if the display device is connected to other embedded platform such as Raspberry Pi?
