Is there any extra driver needed to install for enable this pcie card?
Could you firstly run the application w/o this card and confirm if this sample can run? Then, you connect this card and try the sample again.
This sample would not require gpu to help render, so if it can work but the desktop does not show, it means the gpu related usecase have some problems.
I haven’t connected the PCIe card so far and I have same error message as #17. The PCIe card requires a driver.

Your error log is totally different from previous log. Now it is obvious that the display driver is down due to i2c error…
I have installed the PCIe capture card driver and attached the PCIe card. Also, used SSH connection for checking the log. Is there a way to address this issue?

Let me clarify each comment first.
Please tell us what is the usecase for log in #7. Did you plug the pcie capture card but not have the driver? Is this the case that HDMI is powered on but black screen?
Then in #24, in comparison with #7, do you only install the driver? I think even hdmi power is not ON now. Could you confirm?
It is more like a hardware compatibility issue as some other pcie cards which would affect the i2c functionality…
In log #7, I have used a different monitor with HDMI display output and the PCIe capture card is hot plugged and the screen goes blank after connecting. I have not installed the PCIe driver in this case.
In the log #24, I have changed the monitor and used display port without connecting HDMI and I have connected PCIe capture card before turning ON the Nano board and also, installed PCIe driver. The screen remains blank and I have made an SSH connection to get the log.

I have no idea about your log now. tegradc.1 maps to DP and tegradc.0 maps to HDMI if you are using default driver dtb.
No idea why you claim you are using a DP in #24 but the log is totally from HDMI port…
Actually, none of your log pasted here indicates you are using DP port.
As for your card, I think it is like some other specific card that would affect I2C. We will check if any workaround. But before we start the investigation, please help clarify my previous question first.
In #24 I am using a Display port as output and the PCIe capture card is connected. FYI, the PCIe capture card consists of a HDMI input port. In #24 the HDMI display output is not connected.
In #7 only HDMI display output is connected.
I have checked xrandr before connecting PCIe card. Kindly, check #17 to confirm that DP is connected.
I think it is trying to map to tegradc.0 and failing even though the DP is connected.

Why are you using DP port in #24? I think it makes the test result a little messy here.
If #24 is true, the case becomes that no HDMI monitors are needed to reproduce this issue. Since HDMI port itself has lots of error but you said there was no HDMI connected.
The the test results so far:
- PCIe card + adapter + HDMI and no driver → It should be #7,right?
- PCIe card + adapter + HDMI + driver → no such test.
- Adapter + HDMI → no issue, right?
- PCIe card + adapter + DP + driver → somehow the HDMI driver has error and i2c has error based on #24.
- PCIe card+ adapter + DP and no driver → no such test.
- PCIe card + adapter + no monitor + driver → no such test
Case 6 is a test I want to know after your result in #24. It would be better if you could provide the result of 2,5,6.
The Nano board completely lost display even without the PCIe card. Sadly, I am not able to establish SSH connection.But the power LED is turned On. Any Suggestions?
