Connecting Q3400 FNM and UFM CX7 Connect (Not appliance)

Does the Q3400 FNM Port (NS) support connection with UFM equipped with CX-7 (NS400)? Note that the UFM is a server running UFM Enterprise Software and ConnectX-7, not the UFM Enterprise Appliance Gen 3.5.

Hello,

You can’t connect CX7 to Q3400 FNM port. Because Q3400 FNM port is a Planarized FNM Port.

If the FNM port cannot connect to the CX7, is this port only compatible with the UFM 3.5 model?
