I have 2 question, please help to figure out.
- I checked the EVK’s LED D1 and D3 behavior as below:
a. D1/D3 yellow LEDs are link status but they don’t light on.
b. D1/D3 green LEDs are traffic status, they always light on after command “ifconfig eth down”
As I checked the schematic, the LED D1/D3 control by pin D12, G13, D21, G12
Could you check the LED behavior?
- When loopback test by 2 port and key the command “ifconfig eth1 down”
The Link detected on eth1 status is no but the eth2 ststus still is yes.
I don’t understand why the disconnect 2 port that status not same.
Thanks.
Hellow howard_lee,

Regarding 1st question, please check the LEDs status
There are two I/O LEDs per port to indicate speed and link status.
LED1 is a bicolor LED (amber and green) and LED2 is a single color LED (green).
State |
Led1 Physical Link Speed |
Led2 Logical Link/Activity |
Beacon command for locating the adapter card |
1Hz blinking amber/green according to high/low speeds |
OFF |
Error |
4Hz blinking Amber indicates a problem with the link |
ON |
Physical Activity |
• A constant Green indicates a physical link with the highest-rated speed. • A constant Yellow indicates a physical link with degraded speed. |
Blinking |
Link Up |
• A constant Green indicates a physical link with the highest-rated speed. • A constant Yellow indicates a physical link with degraded speed. |

2nd question, please try to execute command both interfaces.
Thank you,
