ConnectX-7(MCX75310AAS-NEAT) ping and speed test in Windows PC

Hi Dear Application and Tech Support Engineer,

I have two ConnectX-7(MCX75310AAS-NEAT) NIC cards that I want do some basic and fundamental tests before I deploy them.

Can you provide clear and step-by-step instructions and procedures for how to do ping and speed test in Windows PC between these two ConnectX-7(MCX75310AAS-NEAT) NIC cards installed in PCIE 5.0 x 16 in the same PC?

For both cards, I have

Driver Version 25.10.26965.0

Firmware Version 28.47.1088

and I have both

Driver MLNX_WinOF2-25_10_51000_All_x64

and

WinMFT package WinMFT_x64_4_34_1_10

installed successfully.

With EVERYTHING default as out of the box, I’m able to

  1. see both cards detected without error in Device Manager
  2. use the following commands to query basic info and status without error -
    1. In powershell, Get-PnpDevice -PresentOnly and Get-PnpDevice -Class “Net” | Format-Table -Property DeviceID, Status, FriendlyName
    2. In windows CMD,
      mlx5cmd -stat
      Mst status -v
      mlxconfig -d mt4129_pciconf0 query
  3. Then I connected both cards using a 400G OSFP InfiniBand NDR Passive Direct Attach Copper(DAC) Twinax Cable, I am able to query the transceiver module cable using command -
    mlxlink -d mt4129_pciconf0 -m
  4. Now, Could you provide clear and step-by-step instructions and procedures for how to do ping and speed test in Windows PC between these two ConnectX-7(MCX75310AAS-NEAT) NIC cards in the same PC? Command lines and/or software tools are acceptable.

Feel free to let me know if you need any further information.

Appreciate,

Chien
