I have a ConnectX-7 card - MCX75310AAS-NEAT. It has a single OSFP port running at 4X100G speeds.
FS Suggests pairing this card with 400GBASE-SR4 OSFP Flat Top PAM4
But, I already have 2 OSFP with 8X100G 800GBASE 2xSR4/SR8 OSFP Finned Top. Can I use the same for CX-7.
Basically only using one SR4 port of the 800G OSFP I will connect MLNX CX-7 with another MLNX CX-7.
Will this work?
Anyone here has worked with the same and found any issues?

Yes, you should be able to use your existing 800GBASE 2xSR4/SR8 OSFP Finned Top transceivers with your ConnectX-7 cards.
Your ConnectX-7 has a single OSFP port running at 4x100G, and your 800G transceivers have 8x100G SR4 ports. You’ll just be using 4 of those 8 available 100G lanes - think of it like using half the capacity of a larger pipe. The OSFP form factor is the same, so they should connect.
