CPU Voltage Scaling

Hi.

Is it possible to dynamically adjust the voltage (Vdd) of the quad-core CPU? I see that the following file can be edited to change the voltage offset employed during DVFS operations:

/sys/kernel/debug/clock/vdd_cpu_offs

However, changes to this file don’t seem to have any effect. Btw, I want to adjust voltage independent of the frequency (i.e. to under/over volt for a fixed frequency); therefore a tool like cpufreq-set doesn’t work in my case given that it changes voltage AND frequency in unison.

Thanks!

Best regards,
Augusto

Hi AugustoVega,

There is no CPU voltage scaling method, you could refer to http://elinux.org/Jetson/Performance to maximize or minimize CPU & GPU clocks for different performance & power draw.
