CUDA 2.3 Driver Fail Install, Did it change anything

Did the fail drivers change anything to permissions or to the compiler settings if the installed failed? I know why it failed after research… i need to w8 for a 64-bit version. But did the fail install change anything? Thanks!

Run “kextstat” on the command line. Check the output, if it contains a entry of “com.nvidia.CUDA”, the driver is installed.

If you want to uninstall the driver, just delete these two directories:
/System/Library/Extensions/CUDA.kext/
/System/Library/StartupItems/CUDA/
