hi
i am using windows vista 32bit and have downloaded 181.20_geforce_winvista_32bit_english_whql and 181.22_notebook_winvista_32bit_english_beta.
when i tried to install them it gives an error saying the setup detected the operating system is not windows vista 32 bit.
but actually it is vista 32 bit as per the properties.
please help… :(
I got that error, when trying to install the device drivers in compatibility mode. I assume the setup failed the first time, then Vista asked if it can reinstall using recommended settings and you said yes? So, I guess switching off compatibility with previous versions of Windows in the properties of file would help. Well, this will help to avoid that paticular error you’re getting, but I’m not sure if the installation would be successful.
See me other message on how to install the driver if it finds no driver for installed hardware.
