CUDA Fortran Support

I’m aware that the free educational PVF version does not support PGI Accelerator directives, but I’m wondering whether it supports CUDA Fortran? I fear the answer is probably not as I would need to purchase the PVF accelerator version.

I must say that if the Portland Group wants to get academics “hooked” on their products (which is arguably the point of any free offering), they should bundle CUDA Fortran with it. Without CUDA Fortran, it’s hard to see why I should choose it over Intel’s Parallel Studio which is not only permanently free at least on Linux, but offers better performance due to their compiler optimizations.
