Cross-posting from the NVCC forum as it got zero attention there: [Cuda headers in crt/math\_functions.h still broken in debian-13 repo](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/cuda-headers-in-crt-math-functions-h-still-broken-in-debian-13-repo/362708)

While functions `sinpi` / `cospi` / `sinpif` / `cospif` now have macro `__NV_IEC_60559_FUNCS_EXCEPTION_SPECIFIER` appended to them and work correctly on glibc-2.41, `rsqrt` and `rsqrtf` are still broken.
This results in compilation errors like this:

```auto
  specification is incompatible with that of previous function "rsqrt"
  (declared at line 629 of
  /usr/local/cuda/bin/../targets/x86_64-linux/include/crt/math_functions.h)
     extern double rsqrt (double __x) noexcept (true); extern double__rsqrt (double __x) noexcept (true);
```

It is mentioned as a known issue on `llama.cpp`’s github: [llama.cpp/docs/build.md at master · ggml-org/llama.cpp · GitHub](https://github.com/ggml-org/llama.cpp/blob/master/docs/build.md#fixing-compatibility-issues-with-old-cuda-and-new-glibc) (together with the now fixed `sinpi`/`cospi` functions).

Any reason why `rsqrt` and `rsqrtf` have not been fixed similarly to `sinpi`/`cospi`?
While it is easy to patch the headers on my own machines, this causes quite a hassle during automatic building of CUDA-related software packages (for example I regularly build `llama.cpp` deb packages for my partner organizations and it is quite a pain in the ass because of this…).

what a timing: it has just been fixed in CUDA-13.2 :)
