I am interested in using Tesla for a large project with heavy scientific computing requirements. The project is targeted towards FreeBSD, which is unlikely to change for the foreseeable future. I’ve done a fair amount of research with regards to Tesla and CUDA, and it sounds like the application itself would benefit greatly from the parallelization and floating point capabilities Tesla has to offer.
Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be much support for FreeBSD. nVidia has always been good at providing awesome driver support for their GeForce product line, and I’m wondering if Tesla will ever receive the same attention.
Does any one know if FreeBSD will receive Tesla driver support?
