cudaGetDeviceProperties return cudaErrorInvalidValue

I m using card GTX 260
Drivers: Forceware 6.14.11.8048
OS: Win XP sp3

What may cause it (cudaGetDeviceProperties) to fail?

updating(upgrading to 181.20) device driver solved my problem.
