You need to install the 470 legacy driver for your Kepler based Quadro.

You were right, with the 470 legacy driver and the corresponding cuda, I can see the K5100M graphics card in the nvidia-settings. Many thanks.

I watched the activity on the nvidia GPU, nothing. All the activity is on the other intel GPU, Optimus is supposed to enable traffic management, it doesn’t seem to be active. Any advice?

I am on Fedora 36, I followed these instructions (How to Set Nvidia as Primary GPU on Optimus-based Laptops :: Fedora Docs) and got it working,
