Hello,
I have created a custom map of my environment, which you can find attached. While checking its sanity with the maptool_inspection tool, I receive the following error:

[01-06-2022 13:46:06] Platform: Detected Generic x86 Platform

What should I do to resolve it?

map.xml (1.7 MB)

Dear @siomari,

The route cause is invalid dwMap version value. It should match to DW_MAPS_SERIALIZATION_FORMAT_XML_VERSION from maps.h header file.

Thank you @SivaRamaKrishnaNV.

Now I get segmentation fault:

How can I fix it?

Dear @siomari,
The route cause of “Segmentation fault” is difficult to figure out. You need to isolate the node which is causing the issue. Could you add subset of map data and try debugging?

Hi @siomari
Please share the command encountering the issue. Does the workaround for Proper way to run ./maptool_inspection to inspect a map help?

Hello @VickNV
I don’t think I have problem running the tool. Some parts of my map work fine but some of them return segmentation fault.

The command I run is: ./maptool_inspection --map=/home/maria/Documents/map.xml

Dear @siomari,
Some parts of my map work fine but some of them return segmentation fault

Could you share a simple map file and share the part causing segfault. It helps us to identify if it is SW issue or not?

I found the cause of seg fault. I used the traversability tag in roads that have just one lane, which is wrong.
Thank you both for your help!
