!DEC$if and !DEC$endif not recognized by PGI fortran compile

Hello

I am getting the following error while compiling some codes:

PGF90-W-0155-Unrecognized DEC directive: if

PGF90-W-0155-Unrecognized DEC directive: endif

I am using the PGI cygwin environment on Windows. It seems that some of the standard directive like !DEC$if and !DEC$endif are not
recognized by the pgf90 compiler.

Is there a way to tell the compiler to ignore the !DEC directive or is there some other work around for this problem ??

Thanks & Regards,
Kunal

Hi Kunal

The complete list list of supported DEC directives can be found on page 350 of the [http://www.pgroup.com/doc/pgiug.pdf]PGI User’s Guide](http://www.pgroup.com/doc/pgiug.pdf]PGI%20User’s%20Guide).

Sorry, no. Though, these are warning messages and not errors. To disable warnings, please use the “-w” flag.

Hi Mat

Thanks for your reply. I checked in the user guide the supported directives. I see the !DEC$ if and !DEC$ endif are not supported. I just wanted to know if PGI Group plans to support these as well ?

Not htat I’m aware of. Though, you are welcome to send in a feature request to PGI Customer Service (trs@pgroup.com).
