Deepstream 6.2 Rest API support for Jetson Orin

Hi,
This is more a general question to know if Nvidia is planning (or not) to release a version of this feature for Jetson based platforms.

It is said only for x86 at the moment.
https://docs.nvidia.com/metropolis/deepstream-nvaie30/dev-guide/text/DS_RestServer.html

Thank you in advance for your inputs.

We are moving this post to the DeepStream SDK forum to get better support.

There is already REST server API support in DeepStream 6.2. https://docs.nvidia.com/metropolis/deepstream/dev-guide/text/DS_RestServer.html

Surely but as mentioned in the documentation link you shared it is also specified in the “Limitations” section

  1. REST API feature supported on X86 only.

So my question is about whether or not this limitation is due to the current stage of development or if Nvidia has (or not) plans to make it available on DeepStream for Orin (and ARM64) based hardware either maybe later on.

As we are interested by such capabilities for our Orin based hardware I would like to consider Nvidia option as a candidate if it is compatible in the next released versions.

Thank you.

Why do you need the Orin board to support such web based feature? What is your scenario?

We are controlling the deployment and the pipelines runtime on our Orin box using custom rest APIs at the moment to facilitate the management of them.

On the client side we have some web UIs interface to make the restful API calls.

I think the current option developed by Nvidia is very close to what we are doing already but we are using the Orin platform for our current stack.

The REST API support on Jetson is in our roadmap now.
