## Topic Description

### Detailed Description

In Isaac Sim, when using a deformable body, the desired bending appears correctly in the simulation debug and collision mesh views, but it does not bend in the normal view, behaving instead as if it were a rigid body.

Thank you for your reply. The USD file is attached.
Detaild steps:

1. Build a cylinder mesh and add defomable body to it;
2. Create deformable material and attach it the the cylinder;
3. Build a cube shape and attach rigid body to it and freezed its position and orientation;
4. Add attachment between deformable cylinder and the cube;

Hi @11849519,

The problem is that the visual mesh is not granular enough to match the Deformable Object. Please see this post: [Deformable Body Visualization Issues](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/deformable-body-visualization-issues/330384)
