Could you please review the wall mesh in the image?

Error: Edits in the file are saved with an “instance” mark.
Issue: Deleting the object with the instance mark also removes the edits made to the base file.
Goal: I want to retain the edits in the base file while removing the instance mark only.

Would you be able to identify the cause and provide a solution? Thank you!

I am not really sure what you are asking. I am trying to understand your workflow. If you delete an instance it should not affect the master object. But it depends on how you did you edits.

However, a couple of things here.

  1. You are using the old version. The new version is on our github page. GitHub - NVIDIA-Omniverse/kit-app-template: Omniverse Kit App Template
  2. Are you trying to build geometry inside of Composer? That is very difficult to do. I would build all your geometry outside of composer. We are not a modelling software.
