Dell XPS Would D870 work woth XPS ?

If I am not mistaken Dell XPS 720 has NVIDIA nForce 680 motherboard.
Does that mean that it would work with TESLA D870 ? Anyone has any experience in that ?

I am trying to select a workstation that I will buy to run 2 graphics cards (from which one needs to be quadro) and TESLA D870 (need 3 PCIe x16). Is XPS a good choice ?

I’ve used an 680i motherboard with 2 D870s attached and a graphics card. Keep in mind that though there are three x16 physical slots, only two of those are x16 electrically (one is x8 electrically). I believe 780i motherboards have three slots that are x16 both physically and electrically.
