# Detailed 3D CAD model for Jetson Nano

Hello,

I’ve downloaded the Jetson Nano STEP file from Nvidia’s website, but unfortunately it is not detailed enough for our needs.

We’re looking for a CAD file, that will show the components themselves on the board, especially the components that are mentioned in the thermal design spec from Nvidia.  
Our Mechanical engineer informed me that the current files, mainly show the keep-out zones, and it doesn’t allow us to design a more detailed thermal interface to dissipate the heat from the sensitive components.  
Where can I find a more detailed STEP file?

A more detailed STEP file for the Jetson Orin Nano module than the one already on the Jetson Download Center cannot be provided.

Thank you, Chris for the answer.  
How would you suggest we approach designing the cooling system for the Jetson in that case?

Our mechanical designer mentioned that a map height and location drawing of the hot spot components will work as well.

Is there a CAD file for an example cooling solution we could use?

The [Jetson Orin NX Series Thermal Design Guide](https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/jetson-orin-nx-orin-nano-series-thermal-design-guide) covers Orin NX and Orin Nano and has the max component heights, mounting hole locations, and the component placement maps, along with the thermal guidelines, recommendations, and requirements.
