Details about the flashing process

Hi

I tried to flash the Tegra Parker, during the process I noticed that multiple partitions are flashed such as “bct”, “secure-os”, “mts-preboot” and “cpu-bootloader”. Are there in-depth details about what these partitions are used for?

But in this page “https://docs.nvidia.com/drive/nvfdn_docs/#page/DRIVE%2520Foundation%2520SDK%2520Development%2520Guide%2FAppendix%2FAppendixBootburnAdvanced.html%23wwpID0E0PC0HA”, I notice that the “secure-os” is the “secure monitor firmware”.

what does the “secure monitor” mean? Could you provide more information?
