At the moment I’m not able to upload nvidia-bug-report.log file

Here a link to the nvidia-bug-report.log file

Please see this:

@generix I just wonder if my memory is playing tricks with me regarding nvidia-settings not waking up the gpu, or if something changed in the driver/nvidia-settings lately?

IDK, this was new to me, but also never checked before. I’m always only looking at the sysfs nodes.

cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:01:00.0/power_state
D3hot

Also powertop reports a 19 W power usage from my “ethernet controller”, even when the ethernet cable is disconnected.

I suspect it is really the nvidia GPU as it align with the power usage as indicated by nvtop
